New Years Eve 2010 In Downtown Brampton

New Years 2010.What a party this was! A Mardi Gras! The streets of downtown Brampton where dedicated to one thing and to one thing only --- the celebration of the New Year! There were theatre for the kids, fire pits for roasting and toasting marshmellows, fantastic ice sculptures, stilt walkers mingling with the crowds, great stage performances by Faber Drive and The Sam Roberts Band. And of course fireworks. Actually there were two firework events. One for at 9 oclock (in consideration of families with small kids) and another one at 12 midnight to allow adults to usher in the new year with style.

Gage Park was all lit up. Since it was an incredibly mild evening the parks skating circle was crowded.
